The Hampshire Inn and Conference Center is proud to be a sponsor of Amesbury Sports Park's 2nd annual Spring Splash and Big Air Competition on Saturday, March 20, 2010. The event will feature a full day of events with a scheduled appearance from Seabrook's Bronze Medal winner Scotty Lago. Fresh from his 2010 Vancouver Olympics Bronze Medal performance in the Snow Board Half Pipe, Scotty is slated to judge the Big Air Competition.
Other events scheduled include pond skimming, a snow sculpture competition, music from Green Lion Crew, and an after party sponsor by local micro brewery Smuttynose Ale. In addition to all of the fun a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics.
The Hampshire Inn is proud to participate in this growing event and has established a partnership with the Amesbury Sports Park to promote both of these unique local businesses. During the month of February both organizations advertised on WXGR 101.5 for their "Play and Stay package".
